A big part of the magic of a canal holiday is taking your accommodation with you as you travel. Much roomier than you'd think, our narrowboats are great fun to live on.

Narrowboat for hire in Yorkshire All our boats are narrow boats, built for life on the canals. They have simple commonsense controls, and we take care to show you all you need to know for a relaxing canal holiday.

Inside a comfortable Yorkshire narrow boat The saloon has seating, with a table which stores away between meals. If you fill your boat to capacity, you will convert the settee to a double bed, or two singles, at night. There is a radio CD, and a TV with DVD.

Narrowboat galley Your galley has good worktop and storage space, a four-burner cooker with grill and oven, a microwave and a fridge with icebox. We supply all crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, though you will be tempted by the many pubs, restaurants and takeaways along the canals.

Narrow boat bedroom Bedrooms have double or single beds, with comfortable sprung or foam mattresses. There is good storage in cupboards, drawers and under beds. All our narrowboats have power points so you can use hair dryers and straighteners, and charge phones and laptops.

narrow boat bathroom Bathrooms have showers and washbasins. There's plenty of hot water. Toilets are as near as can be to what you have at home, with ceramic bowls and fresh water flush (nothing for you to empty). There's also a shaver point.
